Who are we?

Greeneville Housing Authority is located in Greenville, TN.  Our mission is to provide housing to low-income, very low-income, and extremely low-income families.  This housing is kept to the HUD standards of being safe, decent, and affordable.

SAFE

we strive to make sure our housing does not jeopardize the health, safety, or welfare of its occupants and permits access to electricity, heat, and running water for the benefit of our occupants.

DECENT

Our housing is kept sanitary and clean by our maintenance and residents.  Using inspections, we make sure that our housing is kept to a high standard of decency.

AFFORDABLE

Public housing is subsidized by HUD (US department of Housing and Urban Development).  Because of this, our housing is made accessible to low income and very low-income individuals.  Rent is determined based on income rather than at a set rate.
